Roughout Blanks are a great place to start! An Artist designed the piece and worked out all the bugs so you don't have to! With each Roughout purchase we enclose an "all-view" picture of the finished piece for you to follow as you carve. The "CNC" machine has taken much of the guess work out of that scary block of wood by removing the excess wood for you to be on our way!

What is a Roughout Blank- You ask?
Our Roughouts are wooden blanks "in the round" made with premium Northern Minnesota Basswood, carved out on a "CNC" router machine. Unlike band sawed blanks (which give you just the front and side view), the "CNC" machine takes it to the next level, removing the extra unwanted corners as well! The end product resembles the "all-view" pictures we enclose, yet leaves you with enough room to use your own creativity to put on your own personal touch.
